I love all of my clients, but sometimes there are some very special people who ask me to take their photographs. This is one of those special times. My husband’s brother and his fiance asked me to take their engagement … Continue reading
I don’t usually post personal events to this blog, but every once in while an exception has to be made. My daughter had the opportunity to perform in Clara’s Winter Dream from the Nutcracker with her ballet studio. They all … Continue reading
Oh newborns, they are just so sweet… there are a number of reasons this session with baby J was particularly special, but it’s not my story to tell. So I’ll just have to let the photos speak for themselves. Pure joy from this family, sweet love from older sister and some moments of peace. It goes by so fast! I must include a thank you to Jules Crochet Shop for lending me these adorable hats. Colleen and JJ, thank you for including me in this very special time for your family. ~m
This adorable family came to me from a friend. They decided celebrate her 6 month milestone with a photo shoot and we had a great time. Mom and dad weren’t prepared to be in the pics, but I got a … Continue reading
Over a year ago I promised my sister a photo session after she brought her third child home from China. I’m not sure why it took us so long to get it together, but I’m glad we waited. You can … Continue reading
Here’s the thing… I love weddings. But I’m past the wedding stage of life. It happens to all of us. All of a sudden everyone you know is getting married. One year I had six weddings to attend from June … Continue reading
It’s been a few months since the shoot took place, but better late than never! This family was referred to me from a friend and it was really such a pleasure to work with them. This was my first shoot … Continue reading
I’ve had the pleasure of working with a lot of amazing moms and moms-to-be over the past few years. I decided to take a look back at some of my favorite mom photos in honor of Mother’s Day this weekend. To kick things off, here is one of me with my daughter, my son on the beach and my little one doing what she loves most. Eat. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are putting in the hours day in and day out to raise the little humans in your life. And of course I have to take a moment to thank the mom’s in my life, who are now Grandma and Nonna, who love my kids and help me survive life with three little ones. I couldn’t do it with out you.
Lastly, if you are a woman desiring to be a mother and instead of joy, Mother’s Day brings you heartache, I’ve been there. Know that you are not alone. There are many women who hurt, either because of the loss of a child or the unfulfilled desire to be a mom. I’ll be saying a special prayer for you this year and know that joy can come out of the hurt you are experiencing. Happy Mother’s Day!
This adorable family was referred to me by a former client. I wrote about the fun we had here. It was a pleasure to meet up with Melissa and Brandon and their cutie pies for a little family fun by the water. The rocks by the water were a real draw so we hung out there and then took a little stroll up to some grassy areas. Oh, the grass! Another distraction for little fingers, but I love that I was able to capture some candid moments of boys being boys. The sun was gorgeous on this day so there’s a lot of hazy shots, but I love the softness that it adds. M & B, thank you for choosing me to capture these moments of you and your guys.
Allison and I met through a moms group that we’re both a part of. She and her siblings wanted to give her parents a photo shoot as a gift so we set it up for an afternoon in November. Little did we know it would be the coldest day of the year so far. It also happened to be her brothers birthday. So, I was all bundled with my coat and hat, but these guys were really troopers. They don’t even look cold! We met up at one of my favorite Doylestown locations, the Mercer Museum. It has some really unique architectural features which are a must when the leaves are gone. Across the street is the Michener Museum so we get a two for one deal here. This family is so beautiful and had some funny stories to tell. I could see they really loved being with one another. Thanks Allison and crew, it was a blast.
