This adorable family came to me from a friend. They decided celebrate her 6 month milestone with a photo shoot and we had a great time. Mom and dad weren’t prepared to be in the pics, but I got a … Continue reading →
Over a year ago I promised my sister a photo session after she brought her third child home from China. I’m not sure why it took us so long to get it together, but I’m glad we waited. You can … Continue reading →
It’s been a few months since the shoot took place, but better late than never! This family was referred to me from a friend and it was really such a pleasure to work with them. This was my first shoot … Continue reading →
I’ve had the pleasure of working with a lot of amazing moms and moms-to-be over the past few years. I decided to take a look back at some of my favorite mom photos in honor of Mother’s Day this weekend. To kick things off, here is one of me with my daughter, my son on the beach and my little one doing what she loves most. Eat. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are putting in the hours day in and day out to raise the little humans in your life. And of course I have to take a moment to thank the mom’s in my life, who are now Grandma and Nonna, who love my kids and help me survive life with three little ones. I couldn’t do it with out you.
Lastly, if you are a woman desiring to be a mother and instead of joy, Mother’s Day brings you heartache, I’ve been there. Know that you are not alone. There are many women who hurt, either because of the loss of a child or the unfulfilled desire to be a mom. I’ll be saying a special prayer for you this year and know that joy can come out of the hurt you are experiencing. Happy Mother’s Day!
This adorable family was referred to me by a former client. I wrote about the fun we had here. It was a pleasure to meet up with Melissa and Brandon and their cutie pies for a little family fun by the water. The rocks by the water were a real draw so we hung out there and then took a little stroll up to some grassy areas. Oh, the grass! Another distraction for little fingers, but I love that I was able to capture some candid moments of boys being boys. The sun was gorgeous on this day so there’s a lot of hazy shots, but I love the softness that it adds. M & B, thank you for choosing me to capture these moments of you and your guys.
Allison and I met through a moms group that we’re both a part of. She and her siblings wanted to give her parents a photo shoot as a gift so we set it up for an afternoon in November. Little did we know it would be the coldest day of the year so far. It also happened to be her brothers birthday. So, I was all bundled with my coat and hat, but these guys were really troopers. They don’t even look cold! We met up at one of my favorite Doylestown locations, the Mercer Museum. It has some really unique architectural features which are a must when the leaves are gone. Across the street is the Michener Museum so we get a two for one deal here. This family is so beautiful and had some funny stories to tell. I could see they really loved being with one another. Thanks Allison and crew, it was a blast.
I’ve known Marissa for several years and she had mentioned to me a few times that she was interested in having her families photos done. When she contacted me to sign up for one of my mini-sessions I was thrilled. I know we were going to have a ton of fun. We met up at one of our local parks which offered us some beautiful fall scenery and lakeside fun. It was a perfect fall day and was my sincere pleasure to capture this family so full of love and affection for one another. Marissa and Justin, thank you for choosing me!
Oh these guys… they are like family. My kids are their kids are best friends. We have worked together, played together, laughed and cried together, even vacationed together. I have been taking their photos long before I started this business. … Continue reading →
So I’ll start this by confessing I am super biased when it comes to this particular cutie pie… she just so happens to be my baby. As it goes, she’s not a baby any more; she’ll be two next month. I couldn’t resist sharing this pumpkin themed mini-session I took of her last year around this time. I love fall and all that this time of year brings. Cooler weather, the smell of autumn, leaves changing colors and pumpkin. I love pumpkin and I know I’m not alone. It’s pumpkin spice mania right now, so I thought I would share of few of my new favorite recipes. Try these Pumpkin Spelt Muffins or this Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate. Let me know how you like them! Enjoy!!
Last fall I had the wonderful privilege to photograph a family that is very dear to me. They have an amazing heart for adoption and foster care and have been such a blessing to so many children over the years. God placed it on their hearts to adopt again and this time they were blessed with siblings (THREE) from Ethiopia adding to the 4 kids they already had. They had all only been home a few weeks when I met them on a grey fall day, but we made the most of it and the kids had a blast playing in the leaves. They’ve been a family for 6 months now, so I thought it was a good time to finally share their photo session. Michelle and Marco, thank you so much for the opportunity to capture your beautiful family. I’m grateful to be able to call you my friends. ~ M
